I usually have to ask for extra sauce at other places, but here, they’ve got me covered. It's these little touches that make a big difference. I’ve been coming here ever since they opened, back when I lived in St. Pete, and even though it’s been about two years since my last visit, the quality hasn’t just held up—it’s only gotten better. They’ve expanded since then, but that warmth, that sense of family, remains as strong as ever. I went with my go-to: the Bonita Healthy Arepa (Arepa #2). It’s vegetarian by default, but I added a side of carne asada since I’ve been eating more meat these days. Every bite was as incredible as I remembered. And, of course, I had to get a cafe con leche—because it always delivers. The music? Also on point. I skipped the tres leches this time (had errands to run, nowhere to store it), but from what I remember, it’s the kind of dessert that lingers in your memory in the best way. If you’ve never been to St. Pete, never met a soul in this city, it wouldn’t matter—there’s something undeniably pure and magical about 11 Chicks. You walk in a stranger, and somehow, you leave feeling like family. ”

“ This hole in the wall is amazing! Fresh made arepas and empanadas, churros and other tasty offerings can be found right here. The meats were flavorful, the Venezuelan empanadas were perfect, and the cafe con leche was smooooooth. 10/10 for food. This is a small corner store with maybe four tables that seat two people comfortably inside, and a few chairs and tables outside, as well. Great for take out or come early to beat the lunch rush. ”

The restaurant itself is clean, with lots of seating and nice ac (thankfully too, bc it is far too hot outside to eat with no ac). Carlos helped us with our order and we ended up with the fresh green juice, the top 3 arepa mini sliders, and the taquenos. Everything was so delicious and tasted so so fresh. Also, the sauces were AMAZING. ”
